Dual Enrollment Admissions Requirements & Policies

All students must meet the Liberty University Online admissions requirements.


High School Student Dual Enrollment Admissions Requirements:

1. Demonstrate record of academic excellence (2.7 GPA or higher)

2. Current Unofficial High School transcript. This can be a copy of an original transcript or a print out from the school’s website

3. Apply online or download application


Home School Student Dual Enrollment Admissions Requirements:

1. Demonstrate record of academic excellence (2.7 GPA or higher)

2. Current Homeschool transcript

3. Apply online or download application

 

Policies

  • Dual Enrollment students are granted “special status” and are only allowed to take 13 credit hours in their first semester.
  • With successful completion of the first semester, a student will be eligible to enroll in up to 18 credit hours in a given semester.
  • Upon completion of the General Equivalency Diploma (GED), High School, or other graduation certificate, the student will need to reapply to a degree program (resident or online) and will be granted a degree seeking status.
  • Students must take courses specific to completion of the HS diploma as a first priority.
  • Financial Aid is NOT available for Dual Enrollment students.
  • Students will not be able to enroll in classes until all admissions requirements have been fulfilled.
  • Students are not eligible for conditional enrollment.
