Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling

Today you have the opportunity to make an important decision that could significantly impact the lives of others, further your personal ministry, and influence the future of Christian ministry. By choosing to earn your Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling you can set that opportunity in motion.
Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary’s Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling program prepares students to serve as staff servant-leaders involved in non-professional counseling of church members and others in a variety of ministry settings, including churches, rescue missions, and shelters. Courses provide students with a strong understanding of biblical counseling principles and strategies in order to better meet the needs of others. This degree program is well-suited for students looking to meet the requirements to serve as military chaplains for certain branches of the armed services. It may also assist students seeking professional licensure as a counselor, although it does not meet licensure requirements alone.
