Liberty University’s Master of Arts in Human Services program is designed for busy professionals, like you, who want to apply insight, gained through the study of human behavior, in their workplace in order to better impact the culture and improve the well-being of those whom they lead and serve. This program is specifically geared toward individuals who desire to attain a master’s degree to further their career but do not wish to seek licensure leading to professional counseling. The program is grounded in a core of specialized courses offered through Liberty’s Center for Counseling and Family Studies. Specializations are comprised of an eclectic mix of graduate coursework from a variety of disciplines to supply the values, knowledge, and skills needed for effective work in the vast field of human services.

Online Cognates - May be completed through 100% online coursework.
Blended Cognates - Core courses (18 credit hours) can be completed online or residentially; specialization courses (12 credit hours) must be completed in residential format.
