Associate of Arts in General Studies

If you are a busy working adult with a desire to further your education and increase job marketability, earning your Associate of Arts in General Studies is the first step toward gaining the knowledge and skills you need to achieve your professional goals.

Liberty University’s® Associate of Arts in General Studies program is designed as an intermediate, close-range goal for the adult learner, appropriate for either the individual whose career goals require a two-year, college-level education or for the individual who seeks the degree as a bridge toward a Bachelor of Science degree. You will study across a broad range of courses designed to provide foundational knowledge in areas such as English, mathematics, science, and history. Through such courses, you will develop skills in university-level writing, speaking, reading, and computer literacy, with the ability to utilize analytical reasoning and library research.
