Liberty University is proud of the courageous men and women who actively serve our country. Because of this, we offer special benefits to our military students in order to better help them to achieve their academic and professional goals.

Who Qualifies as a Military Student?

All active service members (qualify after basic training is completed), Department of Defense employees, Veterans (honorable/general discharge), and military spouses have the opportunity to qualify for the benefits listed below. Benefits only apply to Liberty University Online military students (students enrolled in the residential program or Willmington School of the Bible do not qualify).

Evaluation of Military Training for College Credit

Undergraduate, military students only

Liberty offers a free evaluation of military training and experience for college credit. All credit granted for military training is given based on the American Council on Education (ACE) guide recommendations.
